Every year, almost half of the people that need to complete the form leave it to the last minute with those missing the 31 January deadline facing fines.
For those who haven’t yet made their submission, help is at hand. The Enterprise for Success programme is running free workshops designed to help support any individual or business completing a self-assessment for self-employment. The sessions cover key points to consider including how to complete the form, common expenses and key ways to improve your efficiency for future returns.
Peter Daniel of Blue Orchid who is running the event says
“Last year nearly 25,000 spent New Year’s Eve submitting their self-assessment. The reason most people leave it so late is their lack of confidence in completing the form. But it’s quite straight-forward if you are shown how to do it properly. That is why we are running these masterclasses as part of the Enterprise for Success programme.”
The 3 hour workshops will be held at the Heart of Worcestershire College’s Bromsgrove Campus on 10 January 2018. There are two sessions starting at either 1pm or 5pm. Anyone who wants to book on the session can do so by visiting www.enterpriseforsuccess.co.uk
