Redditch, Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest local authorities are committed to ensuring the housing needs of the area are met whilst protecting the unique character of their diverse settlements. In 2018/19 over 700 new dwelling completions were recorded, with a good mixture of one, two, three and four plus bedroom homes.
All districts are dedicated to facilitating the provision of ample affordable housing, with a recent Affordable Housing Viability Assessment in Bromsgrove concluding the council’s aspiration of achieving 40% provision of this kind is fully achievable.

The housing market in the area is buoyant and the North Worcestershire area had 4,682 residential property sales in 2018.

The area has multiple housing development projects in the pipeline, such as the upcoming residential quarter plan for Redditch Town Centre which will in time create hundreds of new homes in a prime location.
